Working under the direction of the Lead Engineer you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of design output content from a team of engineers, and the planning and control of system design engineering, resourcing and scheduling.
System design engineering consist of Software, Mechanical, Electrical and Controls architecture
Duties and Responsibilities:

Periodic and possibly short notice national and international travel required to support the needs of the business in execution of projects
Attend and prepare materials required for Project PTM and/or Monthly PCM for active projects, Safety reviews, design reviews.
To ensure adherence with provided guidance in respect of client specifications for current industry standards, together with National, International, and Local Regulations in order to ensure compliant designs.
To lead in the development of effective design solutions that meet specification requirements, producing technical recommendation reports.
Responsible for developing and implementing control philosophies and functional design specifications.
Preparation of system designs; supported by design verification studies including hand calculations and software derived models (FEA, CFD, Excel spreadsheet) creation of test plans and implementing effective test methods
Guide the project engineering team in preparation and execution of design solutions to specification
To manage periodic and timely reporting of workloads, execute effective plans and commit to delivery milestones, identify risks and raise issues, and agree priorities
Review EC�s, Permits and Documentation (tech pubs FT&FC, manuals etc), and author Technical Reports (compliance, type tests, design review, analysis reports), sub-system Specifications.
Support other business functions to resolve issues.
To ensure compliance with, and support and develop the company quality assurance system.
To assist the design team in the implementation of company quality procedures.
Identify hazards and mitigate risks in all products and systems designed by adopting good engineering practices.
Maintain an up to date awareness and knowledge of semi processes, plant and tool types and, and how they influence the design of products or systems.
